Loch Katrine Eco Lodge Types

Loch Eco Lodges

  • All our fully en-suite loch Lodges are named after local lochs: Loch Katrine, Loch Arklet, Loch Venachar and Loch Achray. Loch Katrine sleeps two people in a king-size bed. This lodge is raised with a full glass front offering extensive views over Ben Venue and the loch.

    Loch Arklet sleeps up to three people (with an added fold-away bed, if a wheelchair isn't in use - ideal for a child) and is suitable for wheelchair users. This lodge has a ramped access.

    Loch Achray and Loch Venachar Eco Lodges sleep a maximum of four people. Two in a fixed double and two in a comfortable fold-out king.

    Our Loch Lodges come with bed linen and towels; en-suite facilities with walk-in electric showers; kitchenette with combo microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and sink; Freeview HDTV, lighting and underfloor heating. All have a deck area with a picnic table, ideal for sitting out and enjoying the view.

  • Loch lodges - £115 per night for two people, with Loch Katrine lodge - £130 per night. Additional adult - £10 per night, extra child (3-16 years old) - £5 per night. Minimum Stay - 2 nights.

  • Loch lodges - £125 per night for two people, with Loch Katrine lodge - £140 per night. Additional adult - £15 per night, extra child (3-16 years old) - £8 per night. Minimum Stay - 2 nights.

  • Dogs are welcome in Loch Arklet and Loch Venachar with a £10.00 supplement per dog per stay (maximum of 2 dogs per lodge). Please mark 'dog supplement' when booking to add the dog.

  • The Ben lodges aren’t en-suite but have their own toilets and showers nearby.

    Sleeping capacity/mix-sleeps 2- 4 with two bunk beds and a fold-out double bed. All have a deck area with a picnic table, ideal for sitting out and enjoying the view.

    Each Ben Lodge has the following: kitchenette; all crockery, combo microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and sink; Freeview HDTV, lighting and heating.

  • Ben lodge £80 per night for two people, minimum stay 2-nights.

    This lodge does not come with bedding & towels. If you would like to have it arranged, please choose linen pack £20 when booking. Additional adult - £10 per night, extra child (3-16 years old) - £5 per night

  • Ben lodge £80 per night for two people, minimum stay 2-nights.

Ben Eco Lodges

Glen Eco Lodges

  • Our new Glen Gyle and Glen Finglas lodges have a private toilet and wash hand basin, with showers nearby.

    The lodge accommodates four people with two adult-sized bunk beds and a comfortable king fold-out sofa bed, bed linen, and towels. It has a small kitchenette including a combi microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and sink. Freeview HDTV & wi-fi.

    All have a deck area with a picnic table, ideal for sitting out and enjoying the view.

  • Glen lodges £105 per night for two people.

    Additional adult - £10 per night, extra child (3-16 years old) - £5 per night. Minimum Stay - 2 nights.

  • Glen lodges £115 per night for two people.

    Additional adult - £15 per night, extra child (3-16 years old) - £8 per night. Minimum Stay - 2 nights.

  • Glen Finglas is dog friendly, with a £10 supplement per stay (maximum 2 dogs per lodge). Please mark 'dog supplement' when booking.

 FAQs about staying in our Eco Lodges

  • We have 10 lodges located in a secluded area close to the loch by Trossachs Pier opposite the Steamship.

  • Yes, all lodges are well-insulated and cosy. Most have underfloor heating, see more details and book here.

  • Sorry, we don’t have any campsites on the lochside. However, there are nearby campsites at Loch Achray (closest to Trossachs Pier) and Loch Chon (closest to Stronachlachar Pier)

  • Our lodges have a microwave combo, sink, fridge, toaster & kettle.

  • There are no open fires permitted due to the woodland setting. Gas BBQs are available for hire on-site, with different sites available. Sorry, no disposable BBQs are allowed.

  • Our Loch lodges are fully en-suite with electric shows; Glen lodges have an en-suite toilet & wash hand basin, with designated and exclusive use showers nearby. Ben lodges have designated and exclusive-use toilets & showers nearby.

  • Yes, all the lodges have free Wi-Fi and Freesat Television.

  • Yes, it is included for our Lochs & Glen Lodge guests. For the Ben Lodges, there is a cost of £20 per stay.

  • Dogs are allowed in the following lodges, Glen Finglas, Ben A’an, Ben Ledi, Loch Arklet and Loch Venachar. There is a £10 supplement; call in advance to book a lodge with your dog on 01877 376315/6—a maximum of two dogs per lodge.

  • Yes, it’s a child-friendly site in an enclosed area with an open-air play area with swings. Some of the lodges are particularly suitable for children. Call us if you want us to help recommend a lodge for your needs.
